According to Wikipedia, Earth is the third planet from the sun and the only astronomical object known to harbor and support life. 

But the activities of humans have over the years impacted negatively on the planet and posed danger to the continuous existence of life in this planet.  The need to expedite actions aimed at protecting our environment and ensuring the survival of every living thing in the planet cannot be over emphasized. 

Like every other Organisation in the business of ensuring safety and continuity of the mother Earth, Miss Earth Nigeria is a vision poised  to raise ambassadors, charming ladies due to the belief that the earth is feminine and beautiful, to advocate for the protection of our environment and ensure the safety of the future for all organisms including man. 

And for the 2021 edition, the Organizers having being divinely led by the goddess of beauty into the acient City of Calabar are set to crown their new ambassadors this weekend. 

According to the Organizers, the event is designed to empower women who are role models and also to maintain environmental friendliness. The interest of the organization is to put out girls that will pioneer advocacy for sustainable development in their environments. 

Founded by veteran Actress, Ex beauty queen, top event planner and former president of the Actor's Guild of Nigeria, Ibinabo Fiberesima, it promises to be a great night for the city of Calabar as Miss Earth Organisation is set to parade a set of flaboyantly beautiful maidens drawn from across the country to compete for one of the most revered crowns in a star studded and entertainment ladden event.
