The peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State have commissioned the biggest and best PDP chapter Secretariat across the seven hundred and seventy four(774) Local Government Area's of the federation, an edifies with well furnished offices for party officers and large seating capacity Hall to accomodate members during party functions.
In his opening speech the chapter chairman of PDP-Abi chapter, Comr. Victor Bassey appreciated God for using his Excellency, senator Liyel imoke to give the people of ABI a befitting party Secretariat and said that ABI has enjoyed so much from the party through the political leadership of Sen. Liyel Imoke who is the political leader of Cross River State and the Moses that is leading the people of ABI to their political promised Land as he is always having the best offers for the people of Abi.
A guest at the event, Mazi Sam Ohubunwa eulogized Sen. Imoke and described him as a man of impact who's astute leadership traverse through the State and National politics, Governance and social impact while he applauded the chapter chairman Comr. Victor Bassey for his vision and foresight as an emerging leader that is focused, intelligent and innovative as only a man with brilliance can achieve such magnificent project in his tenure when the party has very lean resources to run its affairs, and appreciated the party chapter chairman for the warmth reception he accorded him and most importantly the hospitality he enjoyed from the people of ABI.
Commissioning the Party Secretariat, the former Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Sen. Liyel Imoke highly commended the ABI PDP chapter chairman, Comr. Victor Bassey for his intellectual capacity, consistency and optimum service delivery , reiterating that in a short while as chapter chairman, Comr. Victor Bassey has excellently performed in the party with his good Leadership charisma and has maintained a pyramid state for the PDP in Abi Local Area.
The Former Governor described PDP as a party of political and administrative veterans who are broadly vest with the administrative and economic print of this country and is the only true Democratic party that has run an administration that brought good Governance to the doorsteps of Nigerians, while encouraging the people of ABI to continually support the people's Democratic party (PDP) which is the biggest Party in West Africa that has the technical know-how to revamp the economy of this country from the daily impair and sufferings that Nigerians are going through.
Sen.Imoke declared that the people's Democratic party (PDP) is the only well structured party in Abi and Cross River State , and encouraged them to continue in the propagation of PDP around the wards and units of ABI as PDP is taking over Government in 2023 to abate the sufferings of Nigerians and restore good Governance in the country.

Asu Okang as well as other party chieftains and supporters.
