Dear Sir,

A WORD OF FELICITATION ON YOUR INAUGURATION AND ASSUMPTION OF OFFICE AS STATE CHAIRMAN OF OUR PARTY, APC, IN CROSS RIVER STATE.

Words alone may not exhaust my warmth of heart, the air of relief and the deep satisfaction which I proudly testify today over your eventual and eventful swearing-in and subsequent assumption of office as the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Cross River State. 

If anything, it is a feat so well attained and so deservingly earned by popular election verdict as stipulated by the laws of our party and the prevailing constitution of our country, Nigeria.

 Needless to emphasize the hurdles and conundrums that characterized the process preceding your emergence; and the horrendous historicity, accompanying drawbacks and humongous inhibitios that trailed your victory line within and outside the party; some of which were unwarranted and avoidable, _ab initio._ 

In rendering my sincere felicitations and in acknowledgment of your elevation to this  progressive duty call and formal assumption of office, I make bold to add that nothing compares or can ever contend the freewill and/or deterministic hand of God that knows and sees the end of every human endeavour from the beginning. Of course, your reverberating story of ascendancy couldn't have been an exception. Fate, indeed, tailored it square and dry to put radiant smiles on our faces. 

I have no iota of doubt that from your track record of service and glowing antecedents you'll put in your best to meet the basic expectations of the party and the people with priority attention to inclusion and outreach even to such perceived skeptics. May the progressive party spirit abide in all that plan and execute.

May I use this opportunity to also felicitate other elected members of the State Working Committee as well as the entire State Executives and other downline party organs strengthening the grassroots support base at a time like this in our evolving democracy.

Let me also convey the salutations and gratitude of my family; the best wishes of the entire Obubra people; and in particular, the Yala-Obubra extraction whose soul and spirit are avowedly committed to your able leadership while praying the success of your tenure. Amen.
