Meet Hon. Ovat Agbor, Member -Elect For Obubra 1 State Constituency
The man Ovat Agbor, hails from Eja community, in Obubra Local Government Area, Cross River State.
He was born and raised in Okuku, Yala Local Government Area, Cross River State, where both parents lived in search for survival.
Born into the Family of Mr&Mrs Cullberth Agbor, in 1975, 29th November, both from Eja, Obubra LGA, he started his primary education in Holy Child Convent School, Okuku, Yala Local Government Area, where he earned his First School Leaving Certificate and then moved to Mary Knoll college Okuku, Yala Local Government Area, where he made outstanding grades in SSCE.
He holds a BSc in Psychology from the prestigious Ebony State University.
*LIFE EXPERIENCE:*
After he left secondary school, he started working with the Nigeria bottling company, also known as "Coca Cola", in Ogoja Local Government Area, Cross River State and was later transferred to Enugu State.
After gaining lot of experiences from both superiors and junior staff, as a focused young lad who left his comfort zone to look for a better life, he was again, transferred to Onisha, Anambra State.
After a period of time, he had a better offer and started another job with Insurance Brokerage Firm (Financo Brokers), as a supervisor in Imo state. He later joined Imo State Transportation Company, as Supervisor under Insurance Unit.
As fate had it, it was important he returned to the state. Upon his return, he worked with the Internal Revenue Services (IRS), Calabar.
In his quest for more, he ventured into hauling chippings and other private businesses; a medium he used to gainfully employ youths and touched many lives especially in Obubra LGA.
Hon. Ovat Agbor is a refined, coordinated, calculated and focused young man.
He decided to throw up himself for political leadership, to serve the good people of Obubra 1 State Constituency with his vast wealth of experience and connections he has gained over the years.
