Hon. Kingsley Egumi, Cross River State's Honourable Commissioner for Human Capital and Entrepreneurial Development, has extended his felicitation to all Cross River state and Nigerian citizens on the 63rd Independence Day Anniversary. He encouraged the values of unity, peace, and progress, noting the significance of the day in Nigerian history. 

Egumi reminds them of the sacrifices made by their forebears, giving rise to a responsibility to construct a truly independent, united, progressive, and peaceful nation for future generations.

While he warmly welcomed them into October and wishes everyone a Happy Independence Day, charged them to be committed to providing support for emergence of a prosperous, strong nation.

As we all know, Independence Day holds great significance in our nation's history and in commemorating this great day, we must be reminded of the sacrifices our forebears made to grant us this freedom and our responsibility of building a truly independent, peaceful, united and progressive nation for the future generations.
