Amidst hysterical cheers and blooms today the 21th day of March 2024, the beautiful woman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Biase Chapter paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Cross River State, Hon. Dr. (Mrs) Helen Isamoh-Egodo in her office in Calabar.
The women who were led on the visit by the undoubted capacity Chapter Women Leader, Mrs Glory Isamo excitedly thanked His Excellency the Governor for his gender-friendly dispositions as demonstrated by his appointing the highest number of women ever into the State Executive Council, a total departure from the usual norm. She also greatly appreciated the administration's policy thrust which is greatly centered on "People First." Mrs Isamo however appeal to the government at all level and particularly the government of His Excellency the Sweet Prince to consolidate on his present gains to explore even more deeper frontiers to sustainably empower the women to be self-reliant to enable them to be able to contribute their quota to the development of the state cum Nigeria.
On the other hand, the very delectable, cerebral and effervescent commissioner, Hon. Dr. (Mrs) Helen Isamoh-Egodo delightedly welcome and thanked the glorious women of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Biase Chapter for their visit and their show of love, noting that she certainly is not the most qualified amongst the women, but that all cannot be appointed at the same time, hence her appointment as commissioner is an appointment dedicated to all the women. Mrs Egodo further encouraged the women to be patient with the government noting that the government has great plans for the women of the state which they have gradually started rolling out. She also used the opportunity to thank the First Lady of the state, Her Excellency, Mrs. Eyoanwan Bassey Otu for being so supportive of the course of the women thereby making the job a lot more easier.
The visit culminated with a presentation of a beautiful portrait to the Honourable Commissioner as a token of love from the women.
There is no need overemphasizing the obvious that a golden fish has no hiding place. Hon. Dr. (Mrs) Helen Isamoh-Egodo is that golden fish; a silent achiver whose sense of humanity to human before and even now is unwavering and obviously noticed.
