FANS LAMENT OVER MERCY JOHNSON'S ABSENCE IN Nollywood

A beauty queen Miss Evan Ojukwu has lamented the percieved absence of nollywood talented actress, mother and wife, Mercy Johnson okojie claiming that her new job as senior special assistant on entertainment, arts and culture to the governor of Kogi state  has stolen her from  the industry as well as her fans. Queen Evan Ojukwu stressed that the beautiful and talented actress was very much alive before she took up an appointment as SSA to Gov. Yahaya Bello. She claimed that prior to mercy Johnson's appointment as SSA, the nollywood sweetheart was almost the only face on all movie posters and jackets in the market but that  right now, mercy Johnson is no longer anywhere near it.
It will be recalled that mercy Johnson's appointment officially took effect from 1st may this year and has kept the sexy actress from movie locations recently as she is seen busy with her official duties.Her appointment was announced with 62 others in a statement issued by the secretary to the state government (SSG) Dr. Folashade Ayoade.
Beautiful Queen Evan advised celebrities to turn down appointments that will kill their career and relevance in the market, especially with the way some nollywood  actors are delving into politics. She revealed that many fans of the actress have been complaining recently of mercy Johnson's absence in the industry as they want more of her  talent. She also advised entertainers to avoid politics and focus on their job of entertaining the people.
Speaking to conerimedia.blogspot.com in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi state capital,one of the die-hard fans of mercy Johnson and organiser of Miss Pentecostal Nigeria, Miss Blessing revealed that the actress has caused a lot of damages to nollywood  patronage as many Nigerians watch Nigerian movies mainly  because of mercy Johnson and her perceived absence now has driven movie lovers to patronise foreign films instead as they claim most of the new actors are not doing it the right way.She rather advised mercy Johnson to return to nollywood  with her numerous fans. 'Most movie lovers drop a movie once they discover there is neither mercy Johnson nor Genevieve Nnaji' she said.
