I AM GRATEFUL TO ERIC,MONICA, MAUREEN AND OTHERS...JO ESSE TELLS MEMBERS


The new chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cross River State chapter, Comrade Jo  Esse has expressed his gratitude to all the leaders before him especially former chairmen of the guild present commissioner for Culture and Tourism Development Mr Eric Anderson, Monica Udofia and Maureen Ekpenyong. In a  statement released yesterday 16th August 2018 the popular filmmaker said his administration is going to fight for the welfare of all the members without discrimination and sentiment for those who who fought against his elections. In his words, the chairman said:


'On behalf of the AGN Executive.

 To all the members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cross River State.

Many thanks to all members of AGN CRS, especially those who supported us through the struggle for a renewed, rebranded, reunited and peaceful AGN CRS chapter and those who are yet to lend their support. I promise to abide by the constitution of AGN and the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the next two years. I promise to fight for your welfare, serve and stand by every member of our guild, especially in Cross River State. If I dare to mention names of those who have been there, the pages of this publication will not contain. Howbeit, let me specially thank the National president His Excellency Prince Ejezie Emeka Rollas, the Vice President (South) Mr. Mens Ikpeme, The Senior Special Adviser to the Mr. President on Monitoring (South) Comrade Pamsilver Sikpo, the AGNEC Chairman Apostle Iya Orok and other members of the AGNEC. Not forgetting our own former Chairman, Hon. Eric Anderson (Ex-Officio & Commissioner for culture and tourism CRS), Miss Maureen Ekpenyoung, Miss Monica Udofia, Lady Beatrice Akonjom, Emmanuel Effa Williamson (Lokome), Mrs. Agnes Williams, Mrs. Ezinne Owoh, Benita Aloye, Imabong Maurice, and the list is endless. I most specially thank God Almighty_* for keeping our state chapter alive and set for a total revival. In closing, I make bold to say this time, the guild is set for progress and even more if we all put our hands on deck to pull the plough together.

 I also wish to announce therefore the sincere apologies of myself and the entire executive of AGN CRS, to anyone who may have been hurt either in the past or as you read now, I beg that we pls drop the hurting and embrace the Peace we bring so we can grow together.*
