The Cross River chapter of the All Progressive Congress APC seems to be unserious with taking over Cross River State come 2019 if the rumor that Hon. Etim John has been declared chairman is anything to go by as against Dr. Matthew Ojong Achigbe who was elected chairman of the party in the rescheduled Cross River APC state congress. The election of Chief Matthew Achigbe was alleged to have brought the crises that rocked the party in the state to rest until few days ago we heard a court
with the election of Dr. Matthew Ojong Achigbe in the rescheduled Cross River APC state Congress.
RE:PURPORTED LITIGATION AND UNRULY DISTRACTION OF THE APC IN CROSS RIVER.
Our attention has being drawn to the fact that Usani Usani are peddling the rounds of rumors that Hon.Etim John is being declared as chairman of the APC Cross River State by a Court.
The congress in contention between Dr. Achigbe and Hon.Etim John had been cancelled by the National working committee led by H. E Comrade Adams Oshiomole and by this action all litigation with respect to that congress remains invalid.
A New congress was rescheduled and conducted with Dr. Mathew Achigbe emerging as the Chairman. Hence, he is the valid chairman of the party as well as his Exco members.
All the green blood APC members(APC-PDP),should either return to the PDP or live with the decision of the NWC which is final.
The APC is becoming a Leading party in cross River and will fully be after the Governorship primaries. Please disregard any information from the detractors of a Better cross River State.
