The Actors Guild of Nigeria Cross River State chapter to stage peace protest today at cultural centre Calabar by 9AM. In a text message sent to members inviting them for the exercise, members of the guild said the exercise is necessary towards restoring peace and unity in the guild. All members are therefore called to come out enmass and participate in the exercise, saying that the victory of the guild is certain and that peace must return to the Cross River State chapter.
Earlier this month, Coneri Magazine reported that one Miss Monica Udofia, former factional Chairperson of the Actors Guild of Nigeria under Ibinabo Fiberesima led national executive took the Cross River State chapter to court claiming her tenure has not elapsed. The case is still in court.
