Obubra/Izzi Crisis: See residents of the community ravaged by the war

 The present state of the people of Idoru Ogumor community of Obubra LGA  has been described as not only horrible  but disastrous as the war between the Obubra people of Cross River State and the Izzi people of Ebonyi state completely ravaged the community and displaced thousands of residents.

 Speaking to Coneri Magazine in Calabar,  president of Mbembe People's Assembly, Hon. King Omenyi who visited the community yesterday to ascertained the level of destruction said the situation is horrible and that the  war has brought total hardship to the residents of the community.

MPA Boss therefore called on all stakeholders of Obubra and beyond to come to the aid of Idoru Ogumor people as they now squad like apes for survival.

 In his speech, Hon Omenyi said:
"This is the horrible sight I met yesterday at Idoru Ogumor community yesterday when I went there. Even after the war with their Izzis neighbors, yet our people are still living in this horrible condition in refugees camps."
