 Youth Council Chairman Visits Cross River Commissioner For MIDC, Seeks Support In Form Of Grants And Soft Loans For SMEs For The Youths

The Chairman Of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Cross River State chapter, His Youthfulness, Comr Dan Obo has urged the Cross River State Government to ensure that the youths also given loans and grants for SMEs 

The Youth Council Boss made this call earlier today 10th September 2020 in Calabar on a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner for International Development Cooperation, Dr Mrs Asibong Inyang. Comr Dan Obo maintained that most Small and Medium Scale Businesses in the state are run by youths and given considering them for grants and loans will go along way in keeping them engaged and productive  thereby reducing their involvement in crimes in the state.

 On her part, the Honourable Commissioner for International Development Cooperation in Cross River State, Dr Mrs Inyang Asibong, thanked the chairman and his team for coming, promising to partner with the NYCN-CRS in ensuring youths are part of the activities of the ministry.
