Boki people honour Ayade for his monumental developmental strides

 

The Cross River State Commissioner for Works, Hon.  Osim Asu, has described Governor Ben Ayade as a passionate  leader who came and provided an access road linking the Eastern part of Boki with their brothers in the Western part. 

Hon. Asu who stated this during the occasion of the thanksviving and solidarity rally organized by the people of Boki in honour of the Governor, Sen Prof. Ben Ayade on Saturday at the Council Headquarters, Boje, maintained that Ayade effort has successfully brought together who for many years were separated from each other due to lack of access road. 

The Commissioner explained that "if there is any thing that the Boki people would ever remain grateful and celebrate Ayade for, is the construction of the Boki east west road which hitherto seemed impossible but his Excellency being a development ebullient Governor, has through his intellectual money, urge for development in the entire state, gave the Boki people an accessible road to ease their transport challenge, an act which motivated the people to say thank you to Ayade. "

In his speech, the Commissioner for Aviation, Rt. Hon Jake Otu Enya, refers to governor Ben Ayade as  a God-sent to the people of Cross River State and Boki people in particular for the massive developmental projects executed in Boki, ranging from electrification, roads construction, opening of more roads and appointing indigenes of Boki into prominent positions in government has placed the governor in the heart of the people. 

He also congratulated Governor Ayade for the Obudu Cargo  and passenger Airport which is near completion and will commence flights operation by December this year, stating that all this are avenues for economic fast-track for Cross River state, thereby placing Ayade as the best administrator in Cross River state.

In his remarks, the chairman of Boki Hon. Pastor John Ewa, thanked Ayade on behalf of Boki people for his love for the people as reflected in the development projects and appointments and that the people are fully in support of Governor Ayade in all aspects with his projects that have improved on the socioeconomic wellbeing of the people. 

In his comment, the paramount ruler appreciated Governor Ayade and expressed gratitude to him on behalf of the people and that the entire people of Boki will continue to celebrate and support the administration of professor Ben Ayade.

On her part, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) lavished songs of praises on Governor Ayade, and told the people of Boki that the strong message of Ayade has delivered itself through his pragmatic leadership that Boki has benefitted from, and as for her Ayadeism is the code and remains a religion she is in love with and wl continue to support. 

In a welcome adress by the Chapter Chairman of PDP of Boki, Comr. Kelvin Osang who refered to His Excellency as Ayade of Africa, elucidated that the people of boki are celebrating and appreciating gov. Ben Ayade for the giant strides he ha recorded in the political landscape of Boki and his superlative performance in project execution, including the 27km Boki east west road which is a capital project of this administration and that in his kind heartedness and intellectual capacity has made Boki proud by constructing the road and opening boki to numerous developments. 

The event which had in attendance, the Secretary to the state Government, Barr. Tina Agbor, The Commissioner for aviation, Rt. Hon. Jake Enya, the commissioner for works, HON. Osim Asu, the paramount ruler of Boki, HRM Otu Freaking and all appointees of Govt from Boki, was a thank you event and solidarity for Governor Ayade. 

The occasion featured cultural dances and brass bands to celebrate Governor Ayade for opening up Boki to economic development that will increase value in their farm produce and enhance trade between Boki and other neighbouring communities.
