CROSS RIVERIANS OWE THE SOUTHERN SENATORIAL DISTRICT, INTERMINABLE SUPPORT FOR GOVERNORSHI P IN 2023.

Code 888, a political pressure group poised to ensure the administration of justice, equity and fairness in the political domain, have paid a courtesy call to the chairman of the cross river state traditional rulers council, his royal majesty Chief(Dr)Etim Okon Edet and his paramount rulers in his office.

Speaking on behalf of the members of code 888, the director general, pastor Maurice Nkong appreciated HRM, chief(Dr) Etim Okon Edet for opening his doors to accept them and introduced the group to be a group that is in support of equity, justice and fairness for all who are involved in the political scene, further saying that the code is now in sought for power to return to the south and as individuals who have come from the student, business and political angles, they want the justice of power returning to the south to be done in 2023 so that the southern senatorial district will also benefit from and enjoy from the power share that other senatorial districts have enjoyed.

Pastor Maurice Nkong uttered that people from other senatorial districts have started consulting and campaigning for Governorship in 2023 and it will be injustice and clear act of wickedness if the south are deprived of having their Governorship turn in year 2023, as we all in cross river state owe the southern senatorial district interminable support for Governorship in year 2023, and for this reason the group and code that supports justice, equity and fairness have come to them as royal fathers and traditional authorities who hold the sacred mantle, to seek for their prayers, blessings and support towards the struggle for power to return to the south in year 2023.

The chairman of the cross river state traditional rulers council HRM, chief(Dr) Etim Okon Edet, lauded the group for their wonderful initiative and effort of searching for truth and making sure that justice prevails in the rotation of power among the three senatorial districts of cross river state.

HRM,Chief(Dr)Etim Okon Edet said that power started from the south and a political structure was agreed on which gave birth to Governorship in the central through sen. Liyel Imoke and the north presently enjoying same through sen.(prof) Ben Ayade who is presently Governing the state perfectly.

The chairman of the cross river state traditional rulers council emphatically said that, the return of power to the south would not be taken for granted as the southerners have men of capacity and intellect to function as Governors as cross river has produced intelligent Governors from the inception of Gov. Donald Duke, Gov.Liyel Imoke and our brilliant handsome senator(prof) Ben Ayade who has immeasurably transformed cross river state and the south will hand over it's Governorship mandate to a man or woman with inundate leadership and intellectual ability that will take cross river state to a higher height of development.

He assured the group of their support and prayed for God's blessings to rain on them and enable them to attain leadership positions in future, while they keep practicing equity and speaking truth to power.
