Frontline APC governorship aspirant gets royal blessings
A Frontline governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC),Barr Chris Agara has received royal blessings from the paramount ruler and Chiefs of Obubra LGA.
The event which drew traditional rulers from all the clans and communities of the LGA was at the instance of the royal fathers.
Speaking at the event, the paramount ruler of Obubra LGA,Ovarr Clement Ewona represented by Ovarr Luis sylvanus described Barr Chris Agara as a proud son of Mbembe that has impacted tremendously on the lives of his Mbembe brothers and sisters, particularly Obubra.
In their separate comments, the kwudiden of Adun, Ovarr Patrick Arong, the ohorodo of Okum of Okum,Ovarr Robert Mbina and the clan head of Osopong, Chief Lawrence Ayang said their endorsement and prayers for their son was in appreciation for his several philanthropic gestures as well as community development effort in the land aimed at improving the living condition of his people.
They said given the aspirant track records of service even as a private person,they have no doubt that he has what it takes to turn around the fortunes of the State while calling on Cross Riverians to rally support for him.
They unanimously call on all sons and daughters of Ikom and Obubra to come together and support Chris Agara.
Responding,the Governorship aspirant said he was in the race to change the living conditions of Cross Riverians through Agriculture.
He said his administration if elected will focus in harnessing the huge Agriculture potentials of the State as well as ensuring that the peace and security of every Cross Riverians is guaranteed
