Starro Eno, Cross River state Chairman
Emphasising on the need for non- guilded practitioners to take advantage of the opportunity of using one Stone to kill two birds, former Public Relations Officer of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and Pioneer Chairman of Cross River State chapter of AMPRAC, Starro Eno said
"As Life can only get better, that is the reason why the only constant thing in life is change. As former Public relations officer of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cross River State, Chapter, I realized what other states and chapters are enjoying, which is the 2 in 1 package registration as Actors and Producers. I said to myself that Cross River state can't be left behind. I took the bull by the horn and contacted the national president Mr. Ifeanyi azodo and his secretary general Elder Osondu Odom and in their benevolence, they gave me the mandate to pilot the affairs of the Association of movie practitioners (AMPRAC) in cross river state. The most interesting part is that the association agreed to cut down registration fee from 30,000 to the promo price of #10500".
Ifeanyi Azodo, National President
Meanwhile, the National President of the Association of Movie Practitioners, Mr. Ifeanyi Azodo has urged already registered members to be committed to the growth and development of the Association. Mr. Azodo made this call in Awka the Anambra state capital when a group of Actors and movie Producers paid him a visit to brainstorm on the way forward for the association. The veteran filmmaker charged young practitioners to avoid the mistakes made by the current crop of actors, producers and directors who instead of focusing on building a professional career, concerned themselves more about making money and still have not made enough money for themselves, adding that professionalism prepares one for all the benefits in the industry.
