The Secretary General of Human Rights Watch Foundation, Dr. Unimuke Valentine, extends his warm felicitations to Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of Eid ul-Adha.
Dr. Unimuke, who celebrated with some members of the Human Rights Watch Foundation in Lagos, called on the Federal Government to mitigate the effects of the removed fuel subsidy by providing palliatives, in order to prevent a significant increase in the crime rate and the prevalence of abject poverty among citizens.
Dr. Valentine prayed for blessings during this period, hoping that peace would prevail among Muslim faithful throughout the country.
He prayed that Allah would grant us increasing happiness, togetherness, peace and progress
He added, "May the blessings of Allah continue to shine upon our country, and may we always strive to promote peace, unity, and prosperity for our beloved nation."
