C'River Distributes palliatives To Various Groups In The Northern Senatorial District Of The State 

The Cross River State Government has distributed palliative to various groups in the Northern Senatorial District of the state. The groups include Traditional Rulers, Religious Bodies, Students, and others in Ogoja, Obudu, Yala, Bekwara and Obanliku LGAs.

Overseeing the distribution in Ogoja, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Mrs. Helen Isamoh Egodo PhD, explained that they were concerned about all the groups benefiting appropriately, bolstering that the initiative is aimed at providing support to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal on Cross Riverians.

Dr. Egodo reiterated the state government's commitment to addressing the challenges faced by Cross Riverians, providing them with the necessary relief. She said that through the exercise, the state, hopes to emphasize HE Sen Prince Bassey Edet Otu' commitment to bringing relief and support to the people of Cross River State.
