Earlier today, the Honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Cross River State, Mrs Helen Isamoh-Egodo PhD, graced the auspicious occasion of the holy matrimony of Felicia E. John and John E. Ekpang. 

The event which took place at the Apostolic Church, Edim Otop District headquarters, Calabar, also had the prestigious presence of Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, the Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly and Rt. Hon. Davies Etta, the Deputy Majority leader of the state's House of Assembly, highlighting the importance of marriage in the societal fabric and Dr Helen Egodo's commitment to upholding values such as love, family, and togetherness  

Recognising the importance of building strong relationships, and ensuring peace and harmony in marriage, the commissioner encouraged the newlyweds to embrace love, respect and understanding in their journey together while pursuing the goal of raising a family that inspires others. She described marriage as a haven for two imperfect pieces that fit perfectly together, extending her blessings and prayers for peace and harmony in the marriage. 

The event witnessed moments of joy, laughter, and celebrations as cothe uple exchanged vows, symbolizing the beginning of love and companionship.
