C'River Govt Commences Rehabilitation of Yellow Duke, Chambley, and Other Culverts to Prevent Road Collapse

The Cross River State Government has commenced the rehabilitation of several culverts, including the Yellow Duke and Chambley culverts to avert imminent collapse. This strategic intervention aims to preserve the integrity of the road network and ensure the safety of commuters.

According to Mr. Efa Nyong, one of landlords in the area, the deteriorating condition of these culverts posed a significant risk to the stability of the road, prompting the government's swift action. He praised Senator Bassey Edet Otu, the governor of the state for recognising the importance of maintaining robust infrastructure and for the prompt mobilisation of resources to address the critical repairs.

The rehabilitation efforts involve comprehensive upgrades to strengthen the culverts and mitigate the effects of wear and tear.
