COSPIL-APEALS PROJECT: BENEFICIARY CLUSTERS URGED TO TAKE CHARGE AND UTILISE FACILITY EFFECTIVELY

The completed cartage aggregation centre built in Ikot Offiong Ambai Centre, Akpabuyo Local Government Area of Cross River State was inspected by a joint team of Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation development and the Ministry of International Donor.
Speaking during the inspection, the Commissioner for Agriculture and Irrigation development Hon. Johnson Andiambey Ekpokpo KSM , described the project as timely and people centered , adding that the project is in line with His Excellency Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu's "People first" agenda.
Ebokpo advised the various clusters to take the rare opportunity very seriously by ensuring that the facility is well protected from vandalism and properly put into use.
Similarly, the Commissioner for International Donor , Hon. Hipolatus lukpa Oga,appreciated the World Bank for the intervention and charged the beneficiaries to see the project as an asset provided to boost their poultry businesses.
Handing over the keys to the clusters' head, the State Project Coordinator , Dr Arigor John Arigor thanked the State Government for the cooperation he has enjoyed through the Ministry of Agriculture and other relevant institutions through out the period of the project and expressed hope for more interventions to better the life of Cross Riverians.
