Public Petitions Committee Investigates Electricity Issues in Mbaise District The House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions on Friday 15th March, 2024 embarked on an investigative trip to Mbaise District in Imo State to address electricity supply concerns raised in a petition. Led by Rt. Hon. Mike Etaba MHR, member representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency, the committee arrived at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport on Friday in a two-day trip to conduct on-the-spot assessments in Mbaise and Ngor-Okpalla LGAs and was warmly received upon arrival with a cultural performance organized by the Greater Mbaise Association, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and great hospitality of Imo state.   Reps Committee On Public Petitions Moves To Address Electricity issues and Combat Extortion, Fixes Date For On-Site Visit to Mbaise Communities The House Committee on Public Petitions, under the leadership of Rt. Mike Etaba has scheduled an onsite visit to Imo State to address the issues concerning the total blackout, extortion, and neglect in Mbaise District by the officials of Enugu Electricity Distribution Company and two others.  The petition, filed by M.
