His Excellency, Prof. Ivara Ejemot Esu, OFR, Deputy Governor of Cross River State is on statewide inspection/commissioning of recently executed projects tagged “Quick Wins” embarked upon by all Local Government Councils in the State . According to Emmanuel Ulayi, the tour/commissioning is a climax of Governor Ben Ayade's Democratic dividends in all the 18 LGAs of the state.
Clearly, the focus of this engagement confirms the importance, the Ayade's administration has given Local Government areas by the quality of projects . In addition, it it is expected to enable Government assess the level of completion as well as ensure value for money in all the projects. The projects include rural water supply (boreholes), rural roads and electricity including solar lighting of selected communities, towns and newer settlements.
At the moment are some projects at Calabar Municipal Council blocks, Commissioning of a Bore Hole at Marian Market, inspection of ongoing bore holes projects at Diamond Hill area and Kasuk community, inspection of culvert and construction of Akiba Road all in Calabar municipality.
