Carnival Calabar 2019: Blessing Egbara,Peter Egba Applaud Ayade,charge all to uphold the theme of the carnival

The Honourable commissioners for Humanity and social Welfare; and Industry Hon Mrs Blessing Egbara and Hon Peter Egba have commended the state Governor Sir Ben Ayade for his great strides in the state especially in the area of Agriculture and industrialization and  for the well thought out theme and execution of  the 2019 edition of Carnival Calabar. The Honourable commissioners said that Gov. Ayade has not only taken  the annual Calabar Festival to the next level but has also established several industries creating several opportunities for the people. They therefore charged  all  to uphold the theme of this year's  carnival.

The duo said this during the annual Carnival Calabar adjudged to be the largest street party in Africa.

Recalled that Gov Ben Ayade recently swore in 38 Commissioners with Mrs Blessing Otobha being assigned to the ministry of Humanity and social welfare while  Hon Peter Egba was made the commissioner for industry.

The appointment and assigning of Mrs Blessing Otobha Egbara to the new Ministry of Humanity and Social Welfare and the reappointment of Hon Peter intrinsically positions them for their passion. For Blessing Egbara, helping others is a way of life. Even when she was not saddled with any responsibility yet, she empowered and touched several lives. And now that she has been appointed into her passion, one would only wonder the number of lives she will touch within the short time she will be in office. As for Hon Peter Egba, entrepreneurship has been his calling. No wonder he was able to change the face of the ministry of Commerce and industry within a short period in Government. And his reappointment into the ministry obviously speaks volume of his past efforts in helping the Governor to actualise his dream of industrializing the state.

Mrs Egbara Born in  Owakande, Obubra Local Government Area,  of Cross River State  Mrs Egbara is a mother and lover of her people while Hon Peter Egba born in Adun Obubra is a father, loving husbandnd and great entrepreneur
