Amb. Jerry Odey vowes to change the face of Yala LGA if elected Council Chairman

 A foremost Cross River born entrepreneur, convener of Bring back our oil wells campaign and a staunch supporter of His Excellency, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade. Ambassador Amgboji Jerry Odey has promised to deliver quality leadership and create jobs for the people of elected chairman of Yala Local Government council come Cross River State Council Elections scheduled for March this year.  Ambassador Odey who has brought his youthful energies and creativity to bear in the journey to change the face of Yala has said his Government will help reposition Yala in the state map and lead the people to reclaim its lost glory. He said he will use the good office of a council chairman to advance and entrench the principles of democracy for the good of the people.

In one of his recent chats with press men, he stated in his own word:

"From 1960 till date, we have recorded both successes and shortcomings in democratic development in Nigeria.

Going forward as younger generation, we must not allow the drawbacks to determine our tomorrow but we must remain steadfast, focused and committed to advance and entrench the principles of democracy for our good & that of our unborn children."
