Breaking: FG Releases 4.5B To 31 Teaching  Hospitals

Late on Friday, Mr Chris Ngige,The Minister of Labour and Employment(LE) publicized that the Federal Government has acquited the sum of N4.5bn to 31 different federal teaching hospitals in Nigeria.

He said in a statement that the amount encompassed inducement subsidies of the striking doctors for the month of April and May.

Mr Ngige explained in his statement:

“Early this morning, just before we left to see President Muhammad Buhari, the Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning(FBP) disseminated that this morning, it had reimbursed the allowances for inducement to 31 teaching and Federal Teaching Hospitals and disbursed N4.5bn for the payment of April and May.
