Cross River North Bye Elections: High Chief Peters Higgins makes case for Ukelle, throws support behind Hon Barr Ogana Lukpata

 Yala born entrepreneur, High Chief Peters Higgins has urged stakeholders of the North to consider the minority ethnic groups in Yala LGA ahead of Cross River North senatorial bye elections in the state. 

The High Chief who pleaded particularly for the Ukelle speaking minority, said they have not had a shot at such an exalted office since the return of democracy to Nigeria, assured Barr Ogana Lukpata of his unalloyed support.

 "Let's give the Senate to the Yala Minority, the none Yala speaking Yalas like the UKELLES in the spirit of democracy"

However, the detribalized leader said he is not against any Yala speaking aspirant in the race but that it should be someone with the capacity to transform the north.

"I am not against any Yala speaking man that wishes to run for the office but it must be someone with capacity"
