..frowns at civil unrest and destruction of public properties as an alternative to peaceful dialogue.

The wanton destruction of  the Agro Processing, Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support  (APPEALS) and FADAMA offices beside the Airport Police station in Calabar by the hoodlums and looters last weekend has been described as a set back for the some of the State's Agropreneural projects.

Commissioner, Ministry of  International Development Cooperation (MIDC), *Inyang Asibong*, stated this during an on the spot assessment of the two offices located within the same compound with the coordinating head of the projects in attendance.

Asibong said the level of vandalization and carnage that occurred over the weekend was an attempt to take Cross River State agricultural projects  backward.

"I condemn this horrendous attack on the State's facilities and  the level of destructions seen on ground is unbelievable, but sadly it's a reality.

" I take solace and assurances that our people's Governor , Senator Ben  Ayade will leave no stone unturned in ensuring that normalcy returns to not only FADAMA and APPEALS Offices but other nemerous destructions that took place across the City.

The MIDC Commissioner said  working with her counterpart *Ntufam Okon Owuna*, Commissioner for Agriculture and other team members, and with the strong support of Governor Ben Ayade, there will be continuity in the  execution of the Projects.

On ground to receive the Commissioner team  were the Project Coordinator CR APPEALS Project, Mr. Marcel Agim* and the Project Coordinator, CR FADAMA Project, Eunice Bisong
