Youth Council To Hold Townhall Meeting In Cross River State


 

The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Cross River State chapter is set to hold a Town Hall meeting on the 6th of November 2020 at the Cross River youth house, NYSC premises, Calabar by 10AM with the theme "Think Cross River Beyond Party and tribe"

According to the state chairman, his youthfulness Comr Daniel Obo and Secretary, Comr. Tony Darlington Ugbe, the meeting is to serve as a veritable and systemic platform to engage the Young people and re-direct and re- channel their energies towards the realization of their potentials for positive contribution to the socioeconomic and political development of the State. It is also targeted at fashioning out a way of addressing the aftermath of ENDSARS Protest in Cross River State to forestall the future occurrence of such an ugly situation and also address Youth restiveness among our youths. 

The invitation reads:

"I write to specially invite You to the Town Hall meeting organized by the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Cross River State Chapter.  Scheduled as follows;


*Date*: Friday 6th November, 2020

*Venue*: Cross River State Youth House, NYSC premises, Calabar

*Time*: 10am


The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Cross River State Chapter is the assured, veritable and systemic platform to engage the Young people and re-direct and re- channel their energies towards the realization of their potentials for positive contribution to the socioeconomic and political development of our dear State. The Youth Council is also the umbrella body that Coordinates the activities of all other Youth groups in the State.


The Town Hall Meeting is targeted at fashioning out a way of addressing the aftermath of ENDSARS Protest in Cross River State to forestall the future occurrence of such an ugly situation and also address Youth restiveness among our Youths. 


We intend to take the message to all the Villages/Communities in the State. We want every youth of CRS to take ownership and responsibility in protecting our common heritage


Your presence in the event at this critical time will be the best thing that will happen to the Youth of Cross River State.

The meeting which is in partnership with Cross River Entertainers will have Mr D. C Ename and Barr. John F. Inaku as speakers.
