We Will Unseat APC In ABI/Yakurr Federal Constituency - PDP Stakeholders.

The federal constituency of Abi/Yakurr have again zoned it's federal house of representatives seat to Abi. The resolution was arrived at in a peoples democratic Party(PDP) Abi/Yakurr joint stakehders meeting held at itigidi in Abi Local Government area, where party stakeholders deliberated and harmonized their opinions on the zoning of Federal House Of Representatives position which has been agreed to be zoned to ABI local Government Area.

In his opening remarks the Chapter Chairman of PDP in Abi, Comrade Victor Emmanuel Bassey expressed his gratitude to members of the party for comming together to chat the course of unity, love, fairness and development for Abi/Yakurr federal Constituency, adding that PDP is taking back the Federal House Of Representatives position come 2023, as the office belongs to PDP and they will unseat Apc in Abi/Yakurr federal Constituency.

In his speech, the peoples Democratic party (PDP) Chapter Chairman of yakurr, Mr. Enang Omini said the development of ABI and Yakurr can only be achieved through unanimity between members of both local Government areas who share same federal Constituency and as such share same political ideology for stupendous development to be achieved, iterating that Yakurr have served in the Federal House of Representatives and are not zealous to contest for the position but will rather support their brothers in Abi to occupy the office of Federal House Of Representatives.

Interacting with the ABI/Yakurr PDP stakeholders, the former member representing ABI/Yakurr federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and aspirant for the Senate in the Central Senatorial District of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Bassey Eko Ewa said, zoning in the party is sacrosanct and cannot be quash as it is pivotal to the victory, peace and unity PDP, Yakurr, Abi and the entire Cross River State have enjoyed over the years during and after elections. He further said Yakurr sons have since 1999 served and represented the people of ABI/Yakurr in the federal house of representatives and the people of yakurr have deemed it worthy and equitable that the office be zoned to ABI local Government Area, affirming the absolute support of the Yakurr people on ABI taking the position. he advised the PDP stakeholders in Abi to meet and adopt a credible, proficient and acceptable candidate for value addition to be achieved in Abi/Yakurr federal Constituency.

The former comissioner for water resources and Senatorial aspirant ,Obol Godwin Ettah said the people of yakurr are fully in support of zoning the ABI/Yakurr federal house of Representatives position to Abi local Government area and no Yakurr son or daughter is interested in contesting the position with ABI as it is their rightful turn.

Obol Godwin advised the aspirants vying for the federal seat to meet, resolve and come out with a consensus candidate who will gain their support and that of the electorates during general elections.

The people of ABI expressed appreciation to the people of yakurr for supporting them to produce the next federal house of Representatives member, also promising to support Yakurr people in producing the next senator of the Central Senatorial District, saying with unity, hard work and focus PDP will win all elections.

The chapter chairman and Caucus Chairman of Abi PDP Comrade Victor Bassey expressed his Joy and appreciation to the yakurr people for zoning the federal constituency seat to Abi, he promised that Abi will not fail to file in the best hand that can make PDP win election easier and unseat APC in Abi/Yakurr federal Constituency and the entire Cross River State.
