Cross River APC House of Assembly Aspirant Risks Disqualification For Refusing To Do This...

A Frontline House of Assembly Aspirant For Ogoja State Constituency is likely to be disqualified following evidences alleging that he has not resigned as an appointee. This many stakeholders fear may leave APC without a candidate for Ogoja in the forthcoming elections if he emerges candidate as evidences point to the fact that he is still an appointee and receives salary 4 months after becoming a State Working Commitee member and past timeline for resignation of political office holders.

The said Aspirant who doubles as a Director General in Cross River State and also holds a sensitive State Working Commitee position is also seeking to become the flag bearer of the party in primaries to be held in the coming days.

This could portend a risk for the APC as the opposition the PDP are aware of these facts and are hoping to pounce on it and thus run unopposed in Ogoja should that Candidate emerge as APC flag bearer.
