CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB MOURNS

Fans of Chelsea football club of England all over nigeria yesterday mourned the death of one of their own, Late Elder Sylvanus Oba Ndoma, whose sad event occurred on the 30th of May 2017 after a brief illness. Untill his death, the former soccer champion was an ardent fan of the blues. One of the diehard fans of the club in Nigeria, Mr Julius Stephen told Coneri magazine that late Silvanus Oba Ndoma signified  total passion for sports especially Chelsea football club and called on Chelsea fans all over the world to join in the mourning for a lover of football whose life was cut short at the age of seventy. Speaking to Coneri magazine, one of the children of the deceased and journalist with the Nigerian television authority (NTA), Mr Hycent Oba said the death of his father will for ever leave a vacuum in the family and the Yala-Obubra community. In a separate interview on Coneri magazine red carpet, one of the sons of late Silvanus Oba and an officer with the Nigeria police, Mr Charles Oba told Coneri media blog that his father was a great leader, father and veteran politician in Obubra and called on stakeholders in the community to immortalize his excellent and laudable achievement while alive.
Late Silvanus Oba Ndoma will be laid to rest in his compound in Yala-Obubra, cross river state.
A March was played in honour of the veteran politician, community leader, soccer champion and socialist.
