Cross River: Federal Government To Construct Ofumbongha/Yala, Iyamitet/Ababene Rural Roads
A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC and a philanthropist par excellence, Chief Barr. Chris Agam Agara has said that Obubra LGA has been billed to benefit from two major road construction contracts as part of the benefits of the Governor's decision to connect the State to the center. Barr Chris Agara said this yesterday June 20th, 2021 during the APC mega defection rally in Obubra LGA that started at Onyadama and terminated in the township Stadium.
Speaking further, the philanthropist said the major roads earmarked for the construction are Iyamitet/ Ababenne road and Ofumbongha/Yala road. He added that the Federal Government has already concluded arrangements and contractors will be mobilized to site in no distance time.
Barr Chris commended the Executive Chairman of Obubra LGA, Hon. Dr. Bassey Agara Tom for the decision to follow the Governor, adding that soon the people will start reaping from the wise decision they have taken. He also thanked the Obubra people for coming out in their number to support the decision of their leaders, assuring them of better services from the state to the LGA in the platform of APC.
