Ikom Remains PDP Says Chris Agibe, Reveals Party Is Set To Hand Over Mantle To The Youths.

It has become a known fact that the political arena of Cross River State is not a place for Mediocrity, only real gladiators survive the arena. And now, the stage has been ignited with shouts and screams as real gladiators make their way into the arena to set things right once and for all.

This is the story of the gathering of the PEOPLE'S DEMOCRATIC PARTY - PDP Stakeholders meeting held at Ikom on Friday, 25th June, 2021. The arena was crowded with Key players in the PDP who had come to set things right strategically and to announce the direction for future of PDP in Cross River State. One statement remains firm and can't be debated; Cross River State is PDP and nothing upon the face of the Earth will change that.

Rt. Hon. Ntool Chris Agibe assured the people of Cross River State and Ikom of his determination to ensuring that Ikom and the entire Cross River State remains PDP. To cast the first stone in the direction of progress, the Law maker on behalf of the party cleared all outstanding debts including three years rent owed for the party Secretariat. He also promised to pay two years upfront to deviate any distraction arising from the payment of rent.

No doubt, the political atmosphere in Cross River State is altered in spite of the recent *childish* defection to APC by Governor Ben Ayade and others without a justifiable course. One thing was spelt clear in this meeting...

"PDP CAN NEVER LOOSE HIS GRIP IN CROSS RIVER STATE" 

Rt. Hon. Ntool Agibe advise party members to remain calm and faithful while modalities are being put in place to fast track the party agenda which includes handing the mantle of leadership over to the new generation of gladiators. As it stands, the PDP is ready to make the people see a new light in governance and Cross River State is about to return to her former glory.

Reacting in the same meeting, Mr. Julius Eyam, the chapter party Chairman reaffirms his commitment and confidence in the party,  stating that PDP will remain supreme over others despite the recent defection saga which many were ignorantly led astray.

Others like Hon. Ofuka Abung, Comr. Njom Nyambi, Dr. S.E.N Ebaye, Pastor Tony Bassey, Mr. Innocent Bakim, Barr. Christian Ebaye, Hon. Emmanuel Assi, Mr. Chris Okim, Hon. Odu Ojong Ajiba, the Chapter Secretary, Reuben Nsed and other top leaders representing various wards in the Ikom Local Government made contributions on the way forward.

The meeting erupted a new form of hope and excitement in the people as they made their way home with goodie bags Courtesy of party leadership.
