Cross River Commissioner Celebrates Birthday With The Motherless, Showers Them With Gifts

The Hon. Commissioner of Humanity and social welfare, Hon. Blessing Egbara who arrived a new age on Tuesday been the 6th day of July celebrates birthday with teeming supporters, family, friends, student leaders and well-wishers in her Calabar residence. Hon. Blessing who woke up to an unprecedented birthday shout-out that flooded the entire social media was also celebrated by her aides with an early morning surprise birthday party at her residence. Despite the unique feeling and exigencies that accompanied one's birthday - Hon. Blessing who's resolve to contribute meaningfully to government growth had always remained intact. As she had taken off to work, upon which she met another surprise party at her office organized by staffs of the ministry for humanity and social welfare who's affairs she pilots as commissioner. In a bid to appreciate her outstandings, creating a conducive environment for effective work operations and still maintaining a cordial relationship with all and sundry under her guidance.

After which she took off for the Motherless baby home Uwanse to celebrate with the children and extend the warm regards of his Excellency Prof. Ben Ayade and his dear wife Dr. Linda Ayade.


 "Last year i was here to Celebrate with you all, today im here again, i thank God who has kept each and everyone of us to see this day, i feel blessed knowing you all planned this for me. His Excellency your Father and his Wife your Mother and also my Mother are both proud of you all, and they will continually support you in many different ways." "As you Celebrate me today i want you to also Celebrate His Excellency, for all He has done and is doing for you, we are Blessed with a Father who places the welfare of His people as his top most priority" Hon Egbara maintained. "Spreading humanity, is now a culture for all of us under the leadership of Prof. Ben Ayade" she spoke while addressing the children and appreciating the staffs for honouring a special day in her life.


In the later hours of Tuesday been the 6th day of July, the Amazon of humanity who serves as a beacon of hope for the downtrodden staged a reception in honour of her birthday at her Calabar residence. An occasion that was graced by notable personalities within the clime of Cross River and Obubra specifically. Among which was, Dr. Cletus Omono, Dr. Atan Egor, Prince Nku Abuo, Chief Samuel Egba Isek, Comr. Paddy Tom, Sunny Robert, George Sunday, Barr. Sylvanus Inyang, officer Ofadim Clement, Hon. George Obasse, Sen Festus Azogor, Chief Idaka Sunday, Senator Philip Edward Ikpi, Comr. Awubi Kwefa, Queen Ewona Marywhite, Nancy Daniels and female personalities of the 'Central women in politics' alongside a host of respective persons too numerous to be mention who all took turns to remarkably eulogize her in the best and most soothing language that best explains her contents and the strides recorded so far under her watch.


The convener of Central women in politics, Nancy Daniels on behalf of the forum, firstly presented her a bottle of drink, furthering with commendations, recommendations, charges, eulogies and birthday wishes. The highlight of the event was an award of Honour in recognition of her contributions to the growth of students in Obubra - presented to her from Comr. Awubi Kwefa, the executive president of Fosa WW on behalf of the association. While Senator Philip Edward Ikpi, the executive president of Yakuur WW presented a dozen of books designed with picture of our Hon. Commissioner alongside himself the president of the noble association. And lastly the Chief of Central Senatorial district (Censa WW) Chief Idaka Sunday who arrested the floor with his heartwarming birthday wish on behalf of students from central senatorial district.


"I know you all appreciate what I do, but I specially appreciate God and Prof. Ben Ayade for spotting me to serve in his administration. Without him, I would have just been a public figure who would have celebrated this day without this crowd of well meaning individuals. My appointment in 2019 was via recommendation, but I must specially appreciate Gov. Ben Ayade for the privilege to serve. Power come from God alone, so we must believe in God that in the appointed time, God will do that which is best for all of us"

Hon. Blessing Egbara spoke while addressing those who came out to celebrate with him.
