C'River Commissioner For Human Capital And Entrepreneurial Development, Hon. Kingsley Egumi Resumes Office, Assures Of Business Grants, Other Supports


Hon. Kingsley Namgbe Egumi, the honourable commissioner for Human Capital and Entrepreneurial Development has expressed unwavering commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of Cross Riverians, through grants and other forms of support for businesses, entrepreneurs in line with the people first agenda of His Excellency, Sen. Prince Otu, governor of the state.



Hon. Egumi made the commitment on Friday in Calabar during a meeting with both senior and junior staff of the ministry, upon resumption, asserting that the ministry superintended by him would focus basically on alleviating poverty and creating job opportunities for the citizens as well as engaging young people in training that will add value to the state. 


In his speech, the Commissioner said, "We intend to get every deserving person captured in this Ministry. We will work in synergy with the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in assisting small/medium scale businesses with Grants.


"A lot of entrepreneurial programs will be facilitated with the sole aim of adding values to our citizens.”


The Commissioner further commended the Staff for actively keeping the office running, assuring them of a smooth result-oriented administration while also charging them to be steadfast for the task ahead.
