Obubra APC Meets, Denies Rumours Of Division, Leadership Tussle

By the Editor

The All Progressive Congress, APC, has rebutted the rumours making the rounds that the party is being rocked by division or leadership tussle.

In a communique issued after an enlarged executive committee meeting of the party, Obubra chapter held on the 22nd August, 2023 and signed by various stakeholders, including the Chapter chairman and Caucus leader, Deacon Dickson Egor, the chapter Secretary, Comr. Joseph Eyaba and the eleven ward chairmen, the party commended the state governor, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu for heeding their call for two commissioners for Obubra as well as appointing obubra sons and daughters into sensitive offices.

However, the chapter demanded for more opportunities for the Local Government to contribute to the administration of Gov. Otu and for the prosperity of the state, reminding him of his promises to give Obubra during the electioneering period.

The chapter frowned at members peddling the rumour that there is a division or leadership tussle in the party, insisting that the party is now more united and formidable for the task ahead.
