Communual Clash: Odukpani Leadership Academy rises to challenge, sues for peace on lingering security crises.

The concerned youth of Odukpani Local Government Area under the auspices of "Leadership Academy Odukpani Chapter", a composition of former student's and youth leaders have made a resounding call to leaders at various levels in Odukpani Local Government to rise the challenge of the impending locust that is eating deep into the system, thereby resulting to a massive rural/urban drift in the last few years.

The Chairman, Comrade Kingsley Ita Ikpeme and Former Director General of the Greater Calabar,Director General, Greater Calabar Capital City Development Authority Cross River State made the call today while addressing the Elder statemen said it is important that we call out to our leaders at various levels to form a synergy and proffer solutions to the challenges causing the drift, failing economy and insecurity in the Local Government.

Comrade Kingsley noted eminently that the role of young people to impending communal crises that have left unforgettable scars and many displayed in their own land is very peculiar.
Addressing the need for a leadership academy which he stated that it would help reoriented and enlighten the youth on alternatives available in dispute resolutions and it's effectiveness.


He noted that the academy in its very short period of time in operation has recorded very remarkable results which National Association of Odukpani Student's Association (NAOS) Worldwide is a beneficiary which it's leadership fracas that had left the body incapacitated for a long time is now with an unbreakable pact that is already yielding.
