Many have been feared dead in the pipeline explosion that rocked Ijegun- Ikotun axis of Lagos State.
 Reports say many lives have been  lost and properties worth billions destroyed.
But the number of casualties have not been officially released.

Pipeline vandals have been accused for being responsible.

Chaos reigned in the area as residents woke up and ran from their homes.
The fire, according to residents, started around 3 am. They said there was no sign of firefighters as at 6 am.
