C'River Executive Council Retreat: Humanitarian Affairs Commissioner, Helen Egodo Expresses Gratitude To Gov. Otu, SSG For The Privilege To Participate In The Event, Describes It As A Boost For The Discharge Of Her Duties 

The Hon. Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Dr Helen Egodo, participated in the 2-day Executive Council retreat organized by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government which held on wednesday, 13th through thursday, 14th September, 2023 at the Prestigious Calabar International Convention Centre (CICC) with the theme: “Rebuilding Cross River State”. 

The convergence of Cross River State Operatives was aimed at equipping members of the state’s executive council with principles for good governance and rich inestimable experiences that collectively exceed 500 years of hands-on experience from veteran bureaucrats who had been part of the Cross River State success story from different eras complemented by some critical external stakeholders. 

Dr Egodo expresses gratitude to his Excellency the Governor of Cross River State and the Secretary to the State Government for putting up such capacity strengthening workshop. She describes the event as a “rite of initiation” which has made her more eager to discharge her responsibilities and mandate.
