Easter is celebrated yearly by Christians all over the world. It comes to us as Christians for a purpose which makes it unique. We have been made to understand that Jesus died that we may live, His resurrection brings hope to us the Christians and strengthens our faith in God, knowing that He has defeated death.
It is unfortunate that we are celebrating this year's Easter in isolation occasioned by the dreaded COVID_19 pandemic which has ravaged the world, threatening even our faith and Christianity in general. It has caused us great panic and suffering, but the good news is that, this Easter has offered us the opportunity to make our suplications and petitions to God for the forgiveness of mankind.
Dear Christians, today is not the day we should merry in rave up or hold large party, it is a day of sober reflection and a day of remorsefulness as Christians. Though we are celebrating the resurrection of Christ Jesus which has defeated death and strengthened our faith in God, we should be sober and remorseful in asking God to save mankind from the scourge of Coronavirus, together as Christians our prayers shall save the world from total damnation by any pandemic.
It is not a coincidence that this is happening, it is the fulfilment of the word of God meant to draw us closer to Himself. Be sure that after this trying times, we shall come out stronger and bolder. Let us maintain social distancing, maintain hygiene, use alcohol based sanitizers, avoid social gathering of any kind, appear in nose masks and observe other safety measures, together we shall end the coronavirus in our land.
