Easter: Blessing Egbara Felicitates With  Cross Riverians, assures of better days

The Honourable commissioner for Humanity and social Welfare in Cross River State Mrs Blessing Egbara has felicitated with Cross Riverians on the occasion of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Mrs Blessing Egbara who assured all of better days after this trying period of the dreaded corona virus pandemic, urged Christians in the state and the country at large to draw closer to God in appreciation for the love demonstrated towards them by Christ Jesus.

"Easter is a time to celebrate in the body of Christ,  fellowship with our brethrens, draw closer to God. Knowing that Easter also known as Pascha is to commemorate the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

His Resurrection gives us new hope  and strong faith in our Lord God and Saviour, to continue with our daily routine without fear and anxiety"

The commissioner who admited that the world is going through a lot of panic due to the outbreak of the pandemic which has claimed the lives of over 100, 000 people in the world, appealed to citizens of the state  not to allow hardship steal or truncate their joy or hope for better days.

"Though the entire world has been going through a lot due to the wide spread of Covid'19, but it can  never steal or truncate our Joy, for our Joy and hope cometh from the Lord Most High.

I wish each and everyone of us here in Cross River State, a blessed, healthy and prosperous Easter Sunday."

Recall that yesterday, Mrs Blessing Egbara in line with Gov. Ben Ayade's directive on total shutdown of all entry and exit points in the  state was in Obubra to ensure strict compliance. She was accompanied by the National President of Mbembe people's Assembly and the president of Obubra Women Assembly.
