C'River: Amidst The Strike, Commissioner For Humanitarian Affairs Responds To Emergency Life Threatening Situation 

Earlier today the Honourabe commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs Dr Helen    Agan Egodo responded to a life threatening situation. On her way out of her office, she was enthralled by a pondering cluster of young persons who brought a dieing woman. 

The young woman  narrated her ordeals, stating that she has been experiencing excruciating abdominal pains having tissues come out of her body as a result of a complication from her last child birth (the child is just a year old). 

With sympathy and inclination to address the issue, the commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs made a distress call to the Commisioner for health Hon Dr Henry Ayuk Ekpe who advised that the victim be taken to The General Hospital, Calabar for immediate medical attention as the ministry of Health in synergy with the ministry of Humanitarian Affairs will ensure that she receives Adequate treatments and care. 

Resources to facilitate her health care was augmented through the joint efforts of the commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs Dr Helen Agan Egodo And the Commissioner for Social Welfare and Community Development Bishop Margaret Ene Ita.

Timely intervention from the honourable commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs has further deciphered her to be an emphatic and responsive leader. Leaders are identified by their actions.
