Humanitarian Affairs Commissioner, Helen Egodo Congratulates Gov. Otu On His First 100 Days In Office 

The Honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Dr Helen Isamoh Egodo, has congratulated His Excellency, Sen. Prince Otu, the executive Governor of Cross River State, on his successful completion of 100 days in office.

 In a statement, Dr. Egodo praised the governor for his humane approach to governance, reflecting an understanding of the needs of the people and his innovative approach in addressing issues facing the people of Cross River State. Dr Egodo noted the ongoing projects facilitated by the governor in various parts of the state, coupled with his focus on making the state, greener, cleaner, safer and greater for the citizens by working effectively on security measures to curtail criminal activities. 

The commissioner hopes that God will continue to guide the governor's administration and provide him with the wisdom needed to make Cross River State the envy of the country.

We rise in the thankful embrace of a government that is humane in its approach to governance, reflective in its understanding of the needs of the people and innovative in its attention to solving and addressing the issues facing the people of Cross River State, In your first hundred days, you have facilitated ongoing projects in various parts of our State.

Your focus on making Cross River State safe for the people has been realized through the various strategies you have taken to rid our State of the unsavory elements that caused incessant dangers to lives and properties. In the same light, you have implored security measures at the Cross River State waterways and flushed criminal elements out of their hideouts, the economic and security challenges our people faced have been mitigated as you have recreated an environment that will foster development and economic prosperity throughout the State.

Indeed, the roadmap you have presented as foundation to your governance has revamped some ministries and reinvigorated other initiatives. Your desire to infuse humanness into governance has fueled your mandate to include core responsibilities of our Ministry, for instance, our commitment to policies that will address the needs of our people and our dedication to timely intervention that will ensure development and offer proactive sustainable systems.

As we embark on the next hundred days and into the coming years, I wish you and Her Excellency an amplification of the guidance and wisdom that God has increasingly shown you, the love and care that are the guiding principles of your administration and the strength for your continuing march to make Cross River State the envy of our country.
