Etaba Commiserates With Aide Over Father's Death

The member representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Public Petitions, Rt. Hon. Mike Etaba has commiserated with one of his Aides, Mr. Adams Oyama, over the demise of his father, Late Chief Etaba Augustine Oyama.

Until his death, Late Chief Etaba Augustine Oyama (Ovarr Ejor), was a great farmer, caring father, community leader and philanthropist.

Etaba in a statement issued on Sunday by his media unit, urged the deceased family, friends and entire people of Apiapum community in Obubra Local Government Area to be consoled in the fact that late chief Oyama lived a good life, served God faithfully and should be resting in the bosom of the Lord. He maintained that the village head contributed prominently to the growth and development of his immediate community and by extension Obubra Local Government Area.

He said" I was saddened by the news of the demise of your father, late Chief Oyama Augustine whose sad event occurred on the 11th of June, 2023 at the age of 72 years. This is indeed a big blow to our community, his family, friends, church and well wishers. But we must take solace in the fact that papa lived a good life, served God faithfully and should be resting in the bosom of the Lord.  I therefore communicate the sympathy of the people of Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency to you and members of your family. May God grant you and the family the fortitude to bear the loss"
