 Group Lauds Dr. Helen Egodo's Effort In Driving Governor Otu's Humanitarian Agenda, Presents Her With An Award Of Honour 

A leading Support Group in Cross River State has lauded the efforts of Mrs. Helen Isamoh-Egodo, the honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian affairs in driving the humanitarian agenda of Senator Prince Bassey Otu, governor of the state.

The group known as Restoration Grassroots Movement (RGM) has membership spanning the 18 Local Government Areas with the aim of fostering grassroots development, good governance, skills development, unity, peaceful coexistence, and the promotion of the rich cultural heritage of Cross River State

Leading a delegation on a solidarity visit to the honourable commissioner in her office at Hope Waddel Avenue, Calabar on Thursday, the Director General of Restoration Grassroots Movement,  renowned Accountant and Local Government Development Expert, Elder Dr. Ndoma Odey, congratulated Dr. Helen Isamoh-Egodo on her new role as commissioner, describing the appointment as a square peg in a square hole. Odey bolstered that Dr. Egodo has the capacity and passion to contribute meaningfully to Governor Otu's administration. 

 He expressed appreciation to the entire ministry for their warm welcome while briefing the commissioner on the group's mission statement, highlighting the importance of support from the ministry in achieving their goals.


In recognition of Dr. Helen Isamoh-Egodo's service to humanity and her valuable contributions to APC's victory in the last election, the group presented her with an award of honor.

Reacting, the Cross River Commissioner for humanitarian Affairs, Mrs. Helen Isamoh-Egodo, Ph.D expressed gratitude for the visit, describing the award as a recognition of her selfless service to humanity, belief in the All progressive Congress which culminated in the victory of the party in the 2023 election and commitment to Senator Prince Bassey Otu's humanitarian agenda.

It is a privilege to be acknowledged for my selfless service, commitment to the humanitarian agenda of our esteemed Governor and support for our great party, the All Progressive Congress.  This award will serve as a booster to strive to make more positive impacts on the lives of the people of Cross River State.
