 DG Grassroots Restoration Movement, Elder Dr. Ndoma Odey Meets C'River Commissioner For Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Helen Egodo 

The DG Grassroots Restoration Movement, Elder Dr. Ndoma Odey, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Cross River Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. Helen Egodo. The visit was to congratulate her on her appointment as commissioner as well as communicate Yala Nkum's surprise and joy over her miraculous rise to position of authority. They further discussed various issues related to the development of Yala-Ikom and the state in general.

During the meeting, the commissioner and Dr. Odey discussed various ways to improve the living standards of the people of Yala Nkum, Ikom Local Government Area and the state. They talked about ways to create employment opportunities, improve the healthcare system, and enhance educational facilities in the area. They both believe that these  were essential components of development and must be addressed as a matter of urgency.

Dr. Odey, a certified forensic accountant/auditor and LG Administration Expert,  who hails from the same community as the Commissioner's husband, emphasized the need for collaborative efforts from the government, private sector, and individuals in the development of the community and the state. He expressed his willingness to support all efforts towards the growth and development of his hometown and the state.

Overall, the meeting was very productive, as both parties agreed to work together towards the betterment of the people of Local Government and Cross River State in general. The DG Restoration Movement expressed his gratitude to the commissioner for the opportunity to discuss various issues related to the development of the state.
