Women Empowerment Initiatives Nationwide Visits Dr Helen, Appoint Her Governor.

The Cross River State Chapter of Women Empowerment Initiatives Nationwide on the 1st September, 2023 paid a familiarization visit to Dr. Mrs. Helen Isamoh Egodo, the honourable Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs in her office and appointed her their governor. 

The Non Governmental Organization (NGO) that also go by the name "No Woman No Nation" seized the opportunity to congratulate Hon. Helen on her well deserved appointment by His  Excellency the executive governor of CRS. 

While intimating the Commissioner about the essence of the organization as meant to promoting gender equality and empowering women around the world, went further to appoint Hon. Egodo as their Governor. According to them, her being their governor will help boost the organization and place them above other chapters across the Nation.

In her response, the Humanitarian Affairs Commissioner and Gender expert thanked them for the kind gesture and their efforts to help build a better nation via women empowerment and gender equality promotion. Continuing, Dr Helen noted that hence as a Humanitarian Commissioner she's meant to handle Humanitarian issues across genders, she's going to give special attention to the female gender given that the society haven't been very fair to the women meanwhile an empowered woman is beneficial to every folds of humanity. For her, the organization niche and focus is important to humanitarian affairs' office, such that the partnership is welcomed as she promised to work with them to build a better society best for all humanity. Dr Helen assures them of her warmest support whenever the need arises. 

Women Empowerment Initiatives Nationwide also known as No Woman No Nation is an NGO with the believe that empowering women leads to the development and prosperity of nations. Their aim and focus anchors on:

Assisting The Widows and

Engaging Women in Agriculture.

High point of the visit was the presentation of appointment letter to the Commissioner as the governor of the organization followed by prayers and photo session.
