C'River Humanitarian Affairs Commissioner, Helen Egodo Assures Biase APC Of Continuous Support 

The Cross River State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Dr. (Mrs) Helen Isamoh Egodo has assured All Progressive Congress (APC) Biase Chapter Executive of her continuous support. She gave the assurance during a courtesy visit of the chapter Exco to her office in Calabar. Dr. Egodo described APC Biase Chapter as her primary constituency. She appreciated their tenacity and support adding that, she is not oblivious of their challenges and however assured that in no distant time, most of these challenges would be addressed as she will work in synergy with the chapter Exco to ensure that their needs are given necessary attention.

The Hon. Commissioner also sued for prayers for His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Cross River State, Sen Prince Bassey Otu as well as her colleagues in the state Executive Council that God will give them requisite grace and wisdom to deliver on their respective mandates.

Speaking earlier, the Biase Chapter Chairman of APC, Deacon Mizam Arikpo appreciated the Hon. Commissioner for her humility and accessibility inspite of her tight schedule. He also congratulated the Hon. Commissioner on her well deserved appointment which he said came as a result of her hard work, tenacity and resilience adding that, the chapter has not fared well in terms of good will, welfare as well as infrastructure and therefore appealed that the Hon. Commissioner should use her good offices to change the narrative.

Further more, the Chapter Women Leader, Deaconess Glory Egong also congratulated the Hon. Commissioner noting that, power comes from God. She admonished her to use the power wisely to alleviate the poverty of Biase people adding that, she should leave positive legacies that will speak for her in future.

In the same vein, the Chapter Secretary, Mr. Policy Aniom observed that the Hon. Commissioner has been breaking fallow grounds, making notable steps in the political space of Cross River State and so he has no doubts that their visit will translate to meaningful, visible outcomes. 

Similarly, a one time Leader of Biase Legislative Council, Hon. Friday Uyok noted that given the antecedents of the Hon. Commissioner, he is hopeful that she will not disappoint Biase people.
