The Executive Chairman of Obubra  Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Bassey Agara Tom has felicitated with Moslems faithfuls in Obubra and beyond as they join their counterparts worldwide to mark Eid El  Kabir.

The Chairman disclosed this today 31st July 2020 in his office at the council headquarters, Obubra in a message titled" Eid El Kabir: Letter To My Moslem Brothers And Sisters, in which he urged all adherents of the Islamic religion to emulate the footsteps of Prophet Muhammad in cohabiting peacefully with their neighbors as well as imbibe the spirit of love and unity in the course of celebration.

"I felicitate with you my Moslem brothers  and sisters, especially those residing in Obubra LGA, as you join your counterparts world wide to mark Eid El Kabir. As you celebrate this very significant day of your faith, I urge you all to imbibe the spirit of love and unity as well as emulate the good steps of Prophet Muhammad in living peacefully with your neighbors. As you mark this special day, may the peace of God be with you.

Dr Bassey Tom also charged them to observe the NCDC recommended measures in preventing the deadly corona virus pandemic in the area.
